Pupil Premium money received by the school:

in 2014 – 2015 financial year was £33,675
in 2013 – 2014 financial year was £23,700
in 2012 – 2013 financial year was £16,334.

2013 – 2014 – Plans for spending

  • Yoga Bugs training to teach children to focus their mind and learn concentration techniques.
  • Short and long term intervention programmes for underachieving pupils led by teacher or
    teaching assistant.
  • One to one tutoring.
  • Providing access to residential visits
  • Places at Fledglings to ensure attendance at school, or after school clubs
  • The provision of music lessons
  • Speech Link & Language Link programmes – to provide an assessment and intervention
    package to boost speech and language
     
  • PASS resources to ensure the emotional well-being and support to families.
  • Educational Welfare Officer: bespoke package to improve persistent absences.

2012 – 2013 – Spending of the pupil premium allocation

  • Yoga Bugs training to teach children to focus their mind and learn concentration techniques.
  • Short term intervention programmes for underachieving pupils and those with Special Educational Needs
  • One to one tutoring. The funding for this will be used to pay for a qualified teacher to run the sessions
  • Providing access to residential visits
  • Places at Fledglings to ensure attendance at school, or after school clubs
  • The provision of music lessons
  • Speech Link & Language Link programmes – to provide an assessment and intervention package to boost speech and language
